Independent Financial Adviser
Devon

I am an independent financial adviser at Duchy IFA based in Barnstaple, with over 25 years’ experience of delivering advice to both personal and corporate clients.

I provide plain speaking financial advice focused on building the wealth and financial health of my clients. Being independent means that I can offer advice on all aspects of financial planning using products from across the whole market.

My key areas of expertise include investment and wealth management, pension and retirement planning, Equity Release and later life planning.

I put my clients at the centre of everything I do, and I enjoy helping my clients understand their options and explaining some of the more complicated areas that some may find confusing.

I am committed to successful long-term relationships with my clients, guiding them through the various lifetime events that most all of us experience, some inevitable and others unexpected, to help them achieve their aspirations and goals.

I specialise in the following advice services:

Lifetime Financial Planning

Through the use of sophisticated cash flow modelling techniques and by applying various inflation, interest rate and growth assumption we can plan how to get you where you want to be. The use of cashflow modelling is becoming the cornerstone of effective lifetime planning.

Later Life & Estate Planning

We spend a lifetime building our wealth, so it’s important to find the most effective way to protect your assets, in order for you to pass them on to those you love as efficiently as possible.

Pension & Retirement Planning

When you think about the future, what does your retirement look like to you? An important question which we can help you answer.

Investment & Wealth Management

Creating, growing, and then maintaining wealth is key to successful financial planning and should be part of a longer-term investment strategy.

Workplace Pensions

As an employer, you must auto-enrol certain staff into a workplace pension scheme and contribute towards it in order to meet legislative obligations.

Equity Release

Equity release is a way for homeowners over the age of 55 to release value from their home in the form of cash without having to sell or move.
